FAQs
• Does Bagel back up my data?
Yes, but only through your iOS device backup. Bagel does not store anything on its own servers. If you use iCloud or back up your phone to a computer, your Bagel data will be included.
• Can I export my data?
Yes. Tap the export icon in the Analytics tab to generate a .CSV file of your entries. You can save it, send it to yourself, or keep it for your own records.
• What happens if I delete the app?
All of your data will be erased along with the app, unless you have backed up your device or exported your data manually.
• Is my data safe?
Yes. All data stays on your device. Bagel does not collect or transmit anything. For extra security, you can enable Face ID to lock the app.
• How do I enable Face ID if I dismissed the first popup?
If you dismissed the prompt when first opening the app, you can still turn on Face ID at any time. Just press and hold the Bagel app icon on your home screen, tap “Require Face ID” from the pop-up menu, and you’re all set. Face ID will be required the next time you open the app.
• Can I recover my data if I lose my phone?
If you restore from an iOS backup, yes. Bagel’s data is included in full-device backups made via iCloud or Finder (Mac) / iTunes (PC).
