Overview

Confidant was conceived as a mobile-first mental health companion, layering an intuitive UI on top of ChatGPT to offer 24/7 therapeutic support. In addition to the conversational experience, it featured a journaling tool, meditation prompts, and automatic insights that surfaced recurring themes over time.

What I Did

• Worked closely with the founder to translate raw ideas into a fully realized product concept

• Defined the app’s structure, flow, and feature set to balance usability and emotional tone

• Designed a complete mobile interface, covering chat, mood tracking, session summaries, journaling, and onboarding

• Built a visual system that felt calming, professional, and distinct from clinical health apps

Why It Matters

This project demonstrates my ability to take a non-technical founder’s vision and shape it into a fundable, user-centered product — combining brand, UX, and feasibility into a coherent whole.
